Overview

This role will provide key management personnel recommendations and implications of potential business decisions including recommending changes to resource deployment to improve loan portfolio performance. The right candidate, through data analysis, will provide solutions to the most challenging business problems creating the most value for the company. Preference will be given to those familiar with advanced statistical concepts and those whom have advanced data mining experience through the use of SQL and other database tools to combine and connect disparate data sources.    

Responsibilities

  1. Build complex analytical and forecasting models that drive decision making
  2. Be the subject matter expert in regards to scenarios and potential implications of strategic decisions
  3. Provide executive reporting on historical performance with informative interpretation of results
  4. Interpret and utilize historical portfolio level and initiative level performance to project initiative success/failure and project future results
  5. Create analysis to evaluate and track the costs of services and to assist in development of strategic plans and monitoring of performance
  6. Develop reporting packages that target metrics and thresholds
  7. Key player and contributor for new implementations around strategic initiatives

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.

 

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of related analysis experience, with a proven record of success. Experience analyzing big data preferred.

  7. Expert in MSWord, PowerPoint and Access or similar database tools (SQL experience preferred)
