Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring our products and services meet requirements and established organization standards including reliability, usability and performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Document formal test plans for supported products. Formulate and execute test cases to ensure business and functional requirements are met
  2. Identify application inconsistencies, bugs, and defects and communicate through the appropriate channels. Log tasks and test after a resolution has been implemented.
  3. Collaborate with the operations, business analyst, training, and development associates to resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  4. Assist and support Users post implementation, when needed.
  5. Conduct post implementation testing after a new release/enhancement or defect is moved into Production.
  6. Test, document and conduct post implementation testing for Production Issues (Hotfixes/Hotswaps).
  7. Provide and maintain testing status and reports on test results.
  8. Need to work evenings and an occasional weekend when doing deployments. NOTE: Typically this may be 20 minutes to 2 hours.  Depending on the situation, it may be longer.
  9. May require minimal travel.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of testing or product-specific experience

  1. Self-Starter and Ability to take Initiative.
  2. Team Player
  3. Analytical and Detail oriented.
  4. Work well under pressure. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  5. Ability to work and complete tasks with little direct supervision.
