Overview

As an ALLO social media specialist, you'll be managing the ALLO experience for customers and potential customers online across all our markets. You’ll spell out everything from our industry leading technology to our culture as a local, reliable provider. The way you deliver our story will have an immediate impact and they'll tell their friends, and their family, and their neighbors, and the Nebraska Football fan the next row over.

 

Social media is a fast-paced, often changing world, we’re looking for someone with the enthusiasm and digital savvy to tell our ALLO story.

Responsibilities

  1. Keeping up with changes in social trends, changes in social platforms
  2. Basic troubleshooting for reported service issues
  3. Following industry contacts/leaders for trends in technology/fiber/telecom
  4. Daily Social Media posts & responses
  5. Social campaigns using Hootsuite, following compliance rules outlined by Policy, setting up terms & conditions
  6. Working with TSS, CSR, collections, construction, etc. to follow up on customer inquiries
  7. Tracking all social complaints for compliance
  8. Making sure all social content is compliant 
  9. Social Ads, analysis & reporting to marketing group
  10. Training/scheduling/auditing after hour social media responses
  11. Reviewing marketing materials as needed
  12. Helping with PR Events as needed
  13. Pulling email lists for e-blast distribution
  14. Coordinating SilverPop contacts/imports/exports with Nelnet team
  15. Using Sales Force for customer CRM

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma

Some college preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Customer service
  2. Customer service in telecom industry a plus
  3. Personal experience using social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+
  4. Professional experience representing a brand or company in a public/online forum via emails, website, or social media.

 

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  1.  Comfortable in public social forums, friendly demeanor, creative, intuitive.
  2. Typing accuracy and speed a must, advanced knowledge of spelling and grammar preferred
  3. Open to collaboration and ongoing feedback/brainstorming with a team.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft office software including Word and Excel
  5. Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  6. Detail oriented
  7. Ability to communicate empathy online
