Overview

Technical Support Specialist

Responsibilities

  1. Work in an energetic call center environment assisting customers on inbound technical support calls concerning one or more ALLO products.
  2. Trouble shoot the root cause of customer problems and identify action required to resolve issue and schedule service appointments when necessary
  3. Provide total customer service by asking questions and listening to customers in order to understand their needs, requests, or problems.
  4. Give Exceptional ALLO customer service by placing follow-up calls to customers after receiving acknowledgement of action taken by other ALLO Departments.
  5. Keep customer informed about progress by checking the status of work order or trouble ticket in customer record system.
  6. Provide seamless customer experience through documenting call details into the computer system and completing any forms required to request action by other departments.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High school graduate, GED or equivalent work experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  1. 6 or more months experience troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and/or connectivity issues.
  2. 1 to 2 years of work experience in a customer service role, not specific to Call Center Preferred.
  3. Previous telecommunications experience preferred.

  1. Keen aptitude for helping customers and a customer service focus.
  2. Enthusiastic and personable, with the ability to adapt and thrive in constant change.
  3. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate through multiple screens.
  4. LAN/WAN expertise
  5. Pc and networking experience
  6. Solid problem solving skills with proficient attention to detail
  7. Knowledge of internet, networking and email protocols
  8. Solid communication skills
