Overview

Assist with the development of Nelnet’s marketing initiatives, including project coordination and copywriting, aid in the research and execution of social media initiatives, and provide metric reporting for Nelnet and its various lines of business. 

Responsibilities

  1. Open new projects in Function Point  project management system and assist with updates as needed
  2. Manage small projects from beginning to end
  3. Assist as needed with research (copyright searches, etc.)
  4. Help edit copy and/or create copy where appropriate
  5. Manage business accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media sites
  6. Understand and research trends and best practices in social media and make recommendations for implementation
  7. Assist and manage social media campaign development through research, writing, and updating posts and pins
  8. Maintain social media strategy documents as needed
  9. Track, update, and distribute metrics reports for Nelnet’s lines of business, including daily, weekly and monthly
  10. Maintain social media metrics reports, by pulling predefined metrics on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Must be a junior or senior with minimum one to two years in marketing or advertising field of study, or equivalent experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Any previous related experience with the outlined responsibilities is a plus.
