Overview

The ON & Off Boarding Manager will have oversight of the on/off boarding of Direct and Commercial loans.  The manager will need to have a thorough understanding of the business systems and processes, along with industry program requirements to successfully manage and implement loan servicing changes  while exceeding our customer expectations.  The manager will be expected to represent Nelnet at Department of Education industry meetings and events, as well to be a point of contact.  The manager will need to develop and lead associates in a functional division as well a manage the on/off boarding process to ensure functional areas are prepared for loan transfers.

Responsibilities

  9. Ensure appropriate levels of Quality Controls are impacted for all processes
  10. Manage customer expectations
  11. Lead a distributed work force and achieve departmental goals while meeting deadlines
  12. Monitor the budget
  13. Write/deliver performance evaluations and corrective action plans
  14. Foster an innovative environment
  15. Ensure compliance with federal and guarantor regulations

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience

 

EXPERIENCE:

4-6 years leadership experience

Student loan experience and project management experience preferred
