Overview

As a Product Manager at Allo you will be responsible for the day to day management of Allo’s complete product sets including Internet, Video and Phone products.  The Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Development.    

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and revise Allo’s comprehensive Product Catalog as needed. Assure that the Product Catalog is the most up to date resource for product packaging, pricing and information.
  2. Manage and track Allo’s various carriage and licensee agreements with the networks and media companies, maintaining and updating the status of each of Allo’s agreements, including associated fees, fee increases, terms, etc.
  3. Assist in the development of new products and the enhancement of current products. This includes project management of new product implementation and/or enhancements.
  4. Evaluate new products and associated vendors to determine overall product value and financial feasibility of new products.
  5. Work with Allo’s various functional groups (marketing, sales, training, operations, engineering, field technicians, etc.) to obtain feedback on product performance and potential product enhancements.
  6. Responsible for the daily/weekly/monthly product performance reports (e.g. sales results, Internet performance, churn, etc.).
  7. Responsible for gross margin and overall financial performance of each product.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  1. 3-5 years of product management experience
  2. 3-5 years in the video service provider industry (e.g. cable, dish, etc.) strongly preferred
  3. Background in contract evaluation and negotiations strongly preferred
  4. Project management experience preferred

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with multiple functional groups.
  3. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  4. Entrepreneurial spirit with a creative, yet steady handed approach to problem-solving.
  5. Ability to manage multiple activities and projects in a highly organized and flexible fashion.
  6. Ability to think strategically with emphasis on the overall product value to the customer and Allo.
  7. Competitive, yet highly principled character.
