Overview

The Consumer Finance Program Manager will lead the originations of consumer, home improvement, home construction and private student loans through the U-fi program while also identifying other loan origination channels. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct to consumer loan origination business; Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets and Securitization, regulatory review and origination systems.
  • Represent and develop origination program for refinancing student loans, consumer loans, and private student loans while still in school.
  • Analyze and develop processes for standard and sub-standard risk authorizations.
  • Oversee and direct marketing plans and adjust daily operations accordingly.
  • Drive all daily approvals and credit operations including denials and react to condition observations accordingly.
  • Analyze modeling scenarios to maintain top underwriting performance and metrics on multiple credit portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations, confidentiality and discriminations laws and activity.
  • Regularly analyze and report credit, portfolio and collections performance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

4 year college degree required, advanced degree preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in Finance, Banking, and Consumer Lending, and Securitization.
