Overview

Rally Workspace is a new co-working office environment in Highlands Ranch CO, Rally is designed for professionals who are looking for a shared space full of highly energized, like-minded individuals. 

 

As the Rally Workspace Community Manager you will be the face of our co-working environment.  You will be a key factor to drive growth in the membership, facilitate relationships between members of the community, and ensure everything is running smoothly. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all members are satisfied and feel welcome. You will manage day-to-day operations of the business which can be ever-changing as we evolve. With a focus on marketing, service, sales, and community development, the role will create an inviting atmosphere for all co-workers and welcome and sell potential new clients as the face of our community. This is a full time role, with possible extended hours on the weekend and after hours as needed. This role is not to manage a group but more to serve as a connector and to make sure that everyone’s needs are met.  Initial oversight of approximately 15,000 square feet with potential to grow.

Responsibilities

Business Development:

  1. In partnership with Executive Director, implement co-working space build-out with contractors and sub-contractors as needed before opening.
  2. Set strategy for marketing plan, revenue growth and sales
  3. Oversee budget for business including revenue forecast, growth and cost containment
  4. Welcome potential new members when they drop in; provide tours and sell the business.
  5. Answer online queries from prospects

Coordinator:

  1. Represent Rally as the main contact for members on a daily basis.
  2. Manage day to day business, including
    1. Help new and existing members settle into space (ensure system access, sign contract, etc.)
    2. Manage minor expenses
    3. Manage basic supplies (snacks, coffee, bathroom supplies and cleaning products)
    4. Answer calls
    5. Order supplies and maintain inventory (paper, coffee, toner, etc.)
    6. Maintain the business environment technology, including
      1. Monitor printers (paper, toner, functionality) and Internet services (call for maintenance if necessary)
      2. Maintain memberships in the members database
      3. Oversee scheduling of conference rooms and training event
  1. Available to be “on-call” as the primary contact for the business 24/7
  2. Other duties or administrative support are requested

Connector:

  1. Hire, train, and supervise community assistants as needed:
    1. These are individuals who receive reduced membership rates in exchange for facilitating the community one day per week within the business.
  2. Class and Workshop Management
    1. Track usage and work with members as well as instructors to keep our classes well attended
    2. Manage print, digital, and social media marketing
    3. Schedule and execute marketing campaigns for events, including networking with other local communities to ensure they attend.
  3. Manage the website and build a network and contact list.
  4. Attend other community events to network and source potential renters for our space.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Sales experience is preferred

 

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  1. Enjoys people and facilitating relationships
  2. Highly self-managed
  3. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
  4. Enjoys arranging and organizing details
  5. Basic to intermediate proficiency in database systems, including data entry, data manipulation, building queries, and report generation
  6. Proven proficiency in common computer software, including competency in Word, Excel , and web-based content management systems like Google Drive
  7. Openness to change is required
  8. Possible use of personal cell phone for business activity.
  9. Availability to work outside normal business hours if necessary; the community is a 24/7 accessible environment
  10. A background check is required
