We assist in providing a benefit that can help define culture for an employer. The Account Manager is an integral part of our team and is primarily responsible for effectively servicing employer clients using BenefitEd products/services.  The Account Manager is the main point of contact for the employer relating to the day-to-day operation and implementation of BenefitEd.  The Account Manager will provide guidance and ongoing support to our partners.  This position is responsible for over-all management of client accounts, retention of business, and increased utilization of products/services.   

Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain relationships with employer contacts by maintaining a high level of availability and proactively reaching out to employers.
  2. Provide direction and guidance to new and existing employer contacts regarding all BenefitEd products and services.
  3. Provide training on platform, processes and procedures to clients.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and perform multiple tasks on a daily basis via the telephone, fax, email or formal written correspondence.
  5. Answer high volume of phone calls from all regions of the country from employers.
  6. Resolve problematic agreements by contacting the employers in a timely manner and provide solutions when appropriate.
  7. Work hand in hand with the BenefitEd sales team and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for our employers.
  8. Build and maintain a robust referral pipeline from our employers.
  9. Provide reporting of activities to team leader.
  10. Participate in special projects or committees and other related duties as assigned by team leader.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

College graduate in related field or equivalent experience

 

EXPERIENCE:

Experience with account management and/or working with HR professionals is preferred.

  5. Ability to multi-task and complete projects under high pressure deadlines and stressful situations.
  6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  7. Strong knowledge of BenefitEd.
  8. General computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, e-mail, and Internet.
