The Senior Implementation Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and associated activities that are typically multi-departmental and regulatory, operational or strategic in scope. Responsibilities will also include managing large customer or partner implementations.  The Senior Implementation Project Manager is responsible for consultation with internal and external partners to clarify and define project requirements and deliver projects within necessary and agreed upon timelines


This position can be located in either Omaha, Nebraska or Lincoln, Nebraska.


  1. Coordinate and manage the implementation of mid to large customers while working closely with internal teams to accurately understand and document existing processes and proposed/accepted solutions.
  2. Utilize project development process, working with internal managers and supervisors, communicating frequently and escalating issues as necessary.
  3. Utilize big picture analysis to identify efficiencies, opportunities, and strategies to increase departmental scope, customer base and/or expansion of product set.
  4. Organize tasks, time, resources, and people to create a project where all elements come together to repeatedly produce an end result.
  5. Plan and organize work by setting, prioritizing, and adjusting schedules to accommodate sudden changes or unexpected assignments
  6. Document all communications, actions plans, processes, issues and problems thoroughly and professionally.
  7. Coordinate, lead, and attend project meetings and other meetings as requested.
  8. Conduct onsite and/or online training with institutions, instructing them on all aspects of the products they are implementing.
  9. Implement efficiencies that are identified during projects.
  10. Understand customer implementation business needs, advocate for customer priorities and build relationships with customers.
  11. Serve as team member specialist.
  12. Training/partnering with new team members.
  13. Participate in user groups or special projects as business needs require.
  14. Assist management, as needed, with tasks outside of existing projects.



Bachelor’s Degree (4 year degree BA or BS).



  1. 4+ years of project management experience.
  2. PMP Certification preferred.
  3. 2+ years of experience as HE Implementation Manager II.
  4. Experience preferred with SQL, HTML, XML.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

  11. Positive with a can do attitude.
  12. The ability to follow projects through to successful completion.
  13. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with peers and internal contacts.
