Interns work as functioning members of Nelnet’s marketing team, which operates similarly to an in-house advertising agency. Our interns gain an understanding of how a marketing department functions at a large, publically-traded company.
The intern program consists of 12 or more weeks of hands-on work experience and education within an open, collaborative environment. Our flexible hours allow interns to receive the benefits of a dynamic internship program while still meeting their university or college requirements. Interns will become familiar with a multitude of brands under the Nelnet name while gaining insight about the processes and structure of a large holding company.
The copywriter and social media intern will provide writing, editing, proofreading, and social media support for several Nelnet businesses. This person must be able to work 20 hours a week.
Must be a junior or senior with minimum one to two years in a marketing or advertising field of study or equivalent experience. Must have experience writing and managing social media accounts.
