    FUSE Coworking is seeking a Community Manager to assist in development, management, and promotion of the FUSE mission, community and culture. This role will be responsible in fostering the community environment by working with FUSE current and potential members as the customer-service interface internally and assisting the consulting Strategic Director with external community partnerships and the Lincoln business community. The Community Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing events, activities, and programs for the benefit of the FUSE community. This role will also help organize, manage, and effectively run programs in partnership with the Strategic Director in alignment with FUSE’s strategy. Collaborating on short and long-term goals for FUSE will be essential to the growth of this role, and more potential opportunities may become available as the role grows with FUSE. This role will be full-time hourly and the schedule will regularly be Monday through Friday during regular business day working hours of 8:30a-5:00p with additional time needed depending on events for the weekday evenings and weekends.

    Responsibilities

    Requirements:

    • Must have high level of customer service and customer-centric disposition
    • Four-year degree in the studies of business, communications, marketing, or other liberal arts degree fitting these skills and requirements
    • Relevant experience in developing and implementation of programming
    • Must be proficient in communications; both verbal and written
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft and Google Suites

     

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Sales experience is preferred

     

    COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

    1. Enjoys people and facilitating relationships
    2. Highly self-managed
    3. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
    4. Enjoys arranging and organizing details
    5. Basic to intermediate proficiency in database systems, including data entry, data manipulation, building queries, and report generation
    6. Proven proficiency in common computer software, including competency in Word, Excel , and web-based content management systems like Google Drive
    7. Openness to change is required
    8. Possible use of personal cell phone for business activity.
    9. Availability to work outside normal business hours if necessary; the community is a 24/7 accessible environment
    10. Sales experience is preferred
    11. A background check is required
