    FUSE Coworking is seeking a motivated intern that will work closely with the Community Manager to continue enhancing the entrepreneurial culture and experience in the FUSE space. We are in need of a capable intern who can take on multiple projects, manage the needs of the coworking community, and be able to help with events and activities.

    FUSE Coworking is a space that provides entrepreneurs, start-ups, small businesses, and larger corporations a place to work outside of home or their traditional business work setting.

    We work to foster an environment that is beneficial to all types and sizes of businesses to create our collaborative community, and to provide our interns with experience within areas of community relations, membership operations, marketing, communications, event planning, program development, as well as working with multiple business types in our space.

     

    We are looking for individuals who can commit to 8-10 hours per week, between the hours of 9am-3pm, Monday - Thursday.

    Responsibilities

    Managing the inventory and purchasing of needed materials

    • Preparing the space for all events, activities, and the everyday co-working community
    • Keeping the office clean, organized, and ready for all FUSE members
    • Solving the everyday problems that may arise and coming up with a replicable process to mitigate recurrence of issue
    • Helping when needed with other FUSE programs and ideating new ways to benefit

    FUSE members, sponsors, and overall local entrepreneurial community

    The interns may also have the ability to work closely with some businesses working within

    FUSE and may gain extra experience in a variety of areas.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION:

    Currently in post-secondary education working toward a degree in business, marketing,

    communications, hospitality, social sciences, or liberal arts

     

    EXPERIENCE:

     

     

    COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

    Availability at least 2-3 days per week, up to 10hrs

     

    • FUSE interns have the opportunity to receive credit hours for their time each semester, along with referrals and references
