  • Overview

    The K-12 Product Development Analyst is responsible for overseeing the research and analysis of new product opportunities in our K-12 market ensuring ideas are both technically and commercially viable. The position will conduct data and market analysis to identify product gaps within the suite of products primarily working with a small team to lead early stage development projects that feed into the platform roadmaps.  In addition, the K-12 Product Development Analyst will engage in continuous client communication and discovery practices to ensure the viability of product ideas.  The position will report to the Director of K-12 Product Development and Strategy and will work closely with Sales, Operations, IT, Marketing, and Product management.


    1. Contribute to new product and service ideas by researching topics, providing clear and concise summaries, as well as sharing viewpoints, recommendations, and structured next steps.
    2. Stay on the cutting edge of what’s new and exciting across various industries to provide an outlook of future industry developments.
    3. As the primary data interpreter, analyze reports and provide insight to the team to develop new products and uncover actionable insights that help propel the business forward.
    4. Develop detailed, quantitative analysis that supports meaningful insights for new product development.
    5. Analyze reporting metrics and provide recommendations on opportunities to optimize and improve new product performance.
    6. Develop and maintain regular reporting related to potential new products and growth opportunities, as well as current products in market.
    7. Collaborate closely with internal new product team members to develop reporting processes that ensure each team has the data needed to achieve performance targets.
    8. Provide support to the team for requested tasks, proactively organizing tasks, communicating and developing next steps.



    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field



    1. 1-2 years related experience.
    2. 3-5 years of Product Management experience preferred.
    3. Experience in K-12 market preferred.

    7. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
    8. Proven problem solving and project management skills, including attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
    9. Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
    10. Ability to work both independently and with other teams.
    11. Strong business acumen with the ability to create excitement and buy-in for new product ideas.
