  • Overview

    Scan, Quality Check and Validate correspondence from external sources for all Nelnet departments. Source and assign work in fast-paced environment. Responsible for managing inventory, including high priority requests from variety of internal and external sources. Validates inventory and turn-times as owner of several reports that require working with Microsoft Office products.


    This position requires work in support of the Company’s contract with the United States Department of Education (“ED”). As such, the United States Government requires that any applicant for this position must complete United States Government security clearance. Effective June 1, 2018, ED has informed Nelnet that security clearance applications for foreign nationals are not being accepted or processed. In light of this direction from ED, Nelnet will be unable to hire applicants without United States citizenship for such positions.

    8. Provide backup support as directed by leadership team.
    9. Develop an understanding of internal customer’s documents.
    10. Review incoming work, designating appropriate source and assigning to team.
    11. Manage inventory, including running reports and providing to leadership team.



    High school diploma or equivalent required.



    6 months to 1 year customer service & general work experience preferred.
