The Data Entry Specialist operates a keyboard or other data entry device to enter data into computer. This position also enters alphabetic, numeric data from source documents into computer using data entry device, such as keyboard and optical scanner, and following format displayed on screen. In addition, the Data Entry Specialist compares data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors and re-enters correct data. The work is performed according to established methods, procedures and practices.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding general consumer loan issues & questions. Responsible for the research and administration that relate to these activities.
Scan, Quality Check and Validate correspondence from external sources for all Nelnet departments. Source and assign work in fast-paced environment. Responsible for managing inventory, including high priority requests from variety of internal and external sources. Validates inventory and turn-times as owner of several reports that require working with Microsoft Office products.
Maintain compliance standards through the completion of various reconciliations, reports and special projects with minimal supervision. Serve as a resource for management and staff.
